2012 Musical - Oliver!

On this page you can learn more about schedules and critical information for Seton's performance of Oliver!

Please read the following as it contains important info about the show...

Saturday's Rehearsal

We have a very exciting rehearsal ahead. From 9:00-1:00 we are working music and choreography for Oliver! (Mr. Bumble, Widow Corner, Oliver, Workhouse Assistants and ALL BOYS that don't have a name, so, most of you fellas. We're also working Food, Glorious Food, which is Oliver, the Workhouse Assistants and the whole pack of boys, again. We expect to see a HUGE string of gentlement at this event.

Contracts

Of course, you will have noted that Actor's Contracts, as written on the forms and etc. are due no later than February 11 WITH the strike checks. To date, we have received only 35 of these out of the 122 performers currently on the rolls. Let me stress again - we NEED these filled out and returned to us. Please quickly do so. We are extending the deadline a few days, to Wednesday, February 15th. After this date, if you haven't turned in the contract or made arrangements with me to do so, participation in the play can become an issue. These contracts are very, very important because without them we have no real sense of who is committed, and who isn't, which affects budgets, costume deadlines, rehearsals, and much more.

Actor's Contracts have been available at each rehearsal, at the parent's meeting, at the front desk, and via links in various emails. But just in case you've been unable to receive the packet,
click here for the Parent's Information Sheet, the Contract Description, and the Contract Itself (all in PDF form).

Obviously I'm not going to be an Evil Ogre about it. Just get in touch with me and let me know it's coming, and when, so I can account for you. Thank you for understanding.

Bios

If you've been involved in a Seton show before, you know it's time to send it your teen's theatrical bio! Bios are due in my hands no later than the 17th of February. This is not a tough exercise :) Just have your teen write something about themselves that is 45 words or less and email to it me. If they have no experience on the stage, they can say something about how exciting it is to be in their first Seton show! The reason for the quick turnaround on bios is that the following week everything in the program book is set in stone... so we want to read through them all and make sure we're ready in advance. Any bio not received by next friday will not be included in the program. Thanks again for understanding.

Finally

Thanks again, all, for your wonderful parenting and involvement at the school. We truly couldn't put on a show of this magnitude without you and we're excited to share it with the world! If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me at any time. Thanks! I can be reached at 703.474.7946 or matt.moore@triuneproductionstudios.com.
